A while ago, I created a survey asking what tropes you prefer to read. Thanks to those who responded to the survey, if you haven’t please do so by clicking on this link. At the time I’m writing this post, the responses I’ve gotten are not enough to give you a solid general preference, but yes, please spread the word and let’s know what fellow readers love.

Not having that data to share, popular tropes I like and have written are Secret Billionaire trope found in Escape, Enemies to Lovers tropes found in First Impressions, Second Chance found in Crossroads and Velvet Tamarind. Writing these tropes within these stories does not mean there are no sub-tropes (other tropes) within the story. It only means they are the main tropes. How I work around it is to have about three tropes in a story, wrapped around one main trope. Now, that is what I call a delicious story!

Looking to the future, the tropes in my current WIPs that I can’t wait to share with you are: Forbidden Love, Friends to lovers, Second Chance, Fake Relationship and most especially Family Sagas!

When I write my first 12 novel family/friendship saga, I just might decide to take a break from writing, haha! In my wildest dreams. But Family/Friendship Sagas have been my favorite romance trope since I started reading books by Nora Roberts, Sandra Hill and Jayne Ann Krentz.

Alright! Enough of me, which trope is your favorite? And what trope would you like to see me write?
