What are your thoughts on the ending? Did the writers and directors take it too far by allowing her end up with the 'catfisher'?

Yay or Nay: I loved it! Yayyyyyyy. A good holiday rom-com.

Actually, I only review movies I liked here… Or movies I question, you know…

Sex or No: No sex, durhhh… It’s a family movie. Wait, did they kiss?

Romance: 100% It’s the main plot, the essence of the movie. Holiday romance trope, I’ll say.

What I liked: The love interest not being the regular macho guy that’s ready to save the world. It was hillarious and funny.

What I did not like: Initially, I didn’t see anything wrong with whom the main chatacter ended up with but later I thought deeply about it and it might kinda encourage people to in the real world to be dishonest when seeking for love online. But we all know what’s right and what’s wrong. I believe it’s best to start a relationship by being true to yourself.

Also, in these times where there’s video call on almost every app, it’s impossible for them not to have video called. I’m sure the writers needed a plot hole that would help the story fly. Did it work? Yes. But it’s not realistic.

My favorite part: When she was singing in the bar for her dearly beloved Tag.

Recommend or Not? Recommended! Especially for romance writers, date night, and holiday seasons.
