The Fun Part – My Thoughts
Yay or Nay: I loved it! Yayyyyyyy
Sex or No: No sex, and still it nailed it! This is something I need more of.
Romance: Not really, just a mini-romance subplot.
What I liked: The action, soundtrack, professionalism of the actors and THE ENDING/PLOT TWIST.
What I did not like: I have a love-hate relationship with the use of real names for the fictional characters in the movie. I think for a generation where they don’t do much research before coming to conclusion, it might affect their idea of history.
My favorite part: THE FIGHT SCENE WHERE FELA’S MUSIC PLAYING! EPICCCCCCCCCC. O. On Netflix, it starts at the 1:46:20 minute. L L’oun t’awa se n’yara. Je k’abere. Who knew Fela’s music will be used in an action movie! Chisos! Let’s Start!
Recommend or Not? Recommended! If you are okay with bloodshed and a little bit of gory.
