So earlier this year, I promised myself I’d be more intentional and strategic with my book launches—and guess what? I’m actually doing it. I’m lowkey proud of myself!

Now, don’t get me wrong—I’m a planner at heart. But between deadlines, adulting, and the constant chaos that is my brain, things do slip through the cracks. One of those things? Setting a pre-order goal. Yep, I almost forgot!

But I pulled it together last minute, set a SMART pre-order goal (shoutout to Past Me for being semi-organized), and hit it—six whole days before release day. Can we take a moment for that?

In the spirit of full transparency: my pre-order numbers for ebooks have never been sky-high. The most I’ve ever gotten is 10. So this time around, I challenged myself to double that—to aim for 20—and I’m thrilled (and honestly a little shook) to say that I’ve already exceeded it!
